Arai SKV-R Karting Helmet – FIA 8878-2024 & Snell K2025

The Arai SKV-R is a dedicated karting helmet developed using the same design philosophy and protection technology as the GPV-R, with a shell shape designed to provide improved glancing-off performance and driver protection.

Launched exclusively in the UK at the Race Rally Supplies stand at Race Retro, the SKV-R has been developed specifically for karting and features a number of changes aimed at improving visibility and usability on track.

A lower visor pivot point creates a smoother, rounder upper shell while providing an additional 8mm of forward visibility, giving the driver greater awareness of the track ahead.

The SKV-R also features a centre visor lock, providing straightforward and secure visor closure. Inside, the helmet uses an odour-resistant system liner with adjustable foam pads either side to help achieve a precise fit.

The microphone-ready cheek pads and removable centre pad also allow the helmet to be configured for different hydration system setups.

The SKV-R is not FHR compatible, making it a dedicated karting helmet supplied ready for use without the need for FHR provisions.

The Arai SKV-R is homologated to FIA 8878-2024 and Snell K2025.
