The Bell GP3 Sport is a full face motorsport helmet approved to FIA 8859-2015. It has a lightweight composite shell, a duckbill chin spoiler and a Double Screen Anti-Fog visor, with 4 chin bar vents and 3 adjustable top vents. It comes with or without factory-fitted HANS posts.

The Bell GP3 Sport shares the styling and aerodynamics of the GP3 Carbon, with a lightweight composite shell in place of carbon. It suits competitors who want premium protection and F1-inspired design without the carbon shell. The duckbill chin spoiler improves airflow and stability at speed, and it is compatible with Bell's rear spoilers and gurney flaps, sold separately.

Is the Bell GP3 Sport legal for UK racing?

It is approved to FIA 8859-2015. Motorsport UK's notice of 4 February 2026 says this standard stays valid beyond the end of 2026 until the FIA withdraws it. Source: Motorsport UK, National Competition Rules Chapter 9. Checked 6 October 2026. Always confirm with your championship's regulations.

Does it come with HANS posts?

It is offered with or without factory-fitted FHR (HANS) posts, so choose the option you need when ordering. The version with posts is homologated for use with approved head and neck restraint devices.

What is the difference between the GP3 Sport and GP3 Carbon?

They share the same styling and aerodynamic design. The GP3 Sport has a lightweight composite shell, while the GP3 Carbon uses a carbon shell.

Does it have an intercom?

No intercom is built in. Integrated channels in the face piece let you route a drink tube and a radio system, so check your event's requirements before fitting one.

What if my helmet also has a Snell SA2015 label?

Motorsport UK lists Snell SA2015 as valid until 31 December 2026. A helmet that also carries FIA 8859-2015 stays acceptable after that date on its FIA approval. Checked 6 October 2026.

Which visors fit?

A Double Screen Anti-Fog (DSAF) visor is included. Tinted, coloured and mirrored Bell visors are sold separately in our helmet visors and accessories range.
