Developed for one of the most successful modern-era World Rally Cars, this FIA-approved fuel bladder tank is engineered specifically for the Ford Focus WRC (2007), a car that remains highly active in FIA Historic Rallying, national historic rally championships and demonstration events worldwide.

The 2007 Focus WRC represents the final evolution of Ford’s factory World Rally Championship programme, driven in period by elite drivers including Mikko Hirvonen, Marcus Grönholm, Henning Solberg and François Duval. Today, surviving examples are campaigned extensively in historic and legacy WRC categories, where FIA compliance and safety certification are mandatory.

Manufactured in the UK – Proflex FIA Safety Fuel Bladder Tanks

The Proflex Rally Department was specifically selected by a high-profile motorsport client to reverse engineer and manufacture a replacement FIA fuel bladder tank for the Focus WRC 2007. This project presented a significant technical challenge due to the complex in-tank baffle system, designed to maintain controlled fuel flow under extreme rally conditions. Proflex successfully met — and exceeded — these requirements, producing a tank that combines technical precision with exceptional build quality.

Each tank is manufactured in the UK using PROFLEXCELL lightweight Kevlar material, fully compliant with current FIA regulations for rally competition fuel systems.
