OMP AB0-105P-126 FIA Bolt-In Roll Cage – Peugeot 205 GTI
The OMP AB0-105P-126 is a 10-point bolt-in racing roll cage designed specifically for the Peugeot 205 GTI 3-door, 1983–1998.
Manufactured from FE45 cold-drawn steel tubing, the cage uses a combination of 50mm and 40mm diameter tubing and incorporates an A2SX configuration with single door reinforcements, sleeve connecting tubes and diagonal reinforcement on the rear legs.
The bolt-in design allows the cage to be assembled within the vehicle without requiring the entire structure to be welded into place. However, welding is still required during installation, including the door bars and certain mounting points depending on the vehicle and cage configuration.
As well as providing additional occupant protection in the event of an accident, a properly installed roll cage can increase the torsional rigidity of the bodyshell, which can be beneficial on competition vehicles.
This cage is FIA homologated – All J and is intended for competition use.

Construction & Installation
The AB0-105P-126 is manufactured from FE45 cold-drawn steel tubing, providing the strength required for a competition roll cage while keeping the overall cage weight to approximately 26kg.
The main hoop uses 50mm diameter × 2mm wall tubing, while the remaining cage sections use 40mm diameter × 2mm wall tubing.
The A2SX configuration includes single door reinforcements, sleeve connecting tubes and diagonal reinforcement on the rear legs.
Although this is a bolt-in cage, installation is not simply a case of bolting the complete cage into the vehicle. Welding is required for certain parts of the installation. The supplied single door bars require cutting to the correct length and welding into position, while additional welding may be required for mounting plates and other cage attachment points.
The exact installation requirements can vary depending on the vehicle application, so the relevant OMP fitting instructions should be followed when installing the cage.
Important Installation Information
- This is a bolt-in competition roll cage, but welding is still required during installation.
- The supplied single door bars require cutting to length and welding into position.
- Welding may be required for chassis strengthening mounting plates and door-bar mounting points.
- Some cage applications may require additional welding to other sections of the cage.
- Dashboard modifications may be required on some vehicle applications to allow the cage to be correctly positioned.
- OMP bolt-in competition cages are not suitable for vehicles fitted with a factory sunroof unless specifically stated otherwise.
