• Can I use a Quick-Release tether system with this device? Yes. The device comes standard with sliding tethers that slip over standard HANS posts. If your helmet has modern M6 threaded terminal washers built into the shell, you can swap out those standard posts for a Simpson M61 quick-release anchor set. This allows you to completely free yourself from the restraint by simply pulling the yellow release cords.
