The complete system, including all ancillaries, weighs under 3.5 kg, while the compact filled cylinder weighs just 2.6 kg. With a 125 mm diameter and a total length of 308 mm, it is exceptionally easy to package and install, making it ideal for high-performance and space-conscious competition vehicles.

Technical Overview

During the development of the ZERO® 275, Lifeline utilised advanced fluid dynamics analysis to deliver a major step forward in driver safety. The system optimises suppressant flow, allowing for floor-mounted cockpit nozzles that help lower the vehicle’s centre of gravity.

In the engine bay, three outlet nozzles and the use of lightweight, high-performance materials enable a significant reduction in suppressant volume compared with previous 8865:2015 systems. Thanks to this intelligent design, the overall cost and weight of the ZERO® 275 are comparable to FIA Technical List 16 systems, while providing superior protection.

Developed in collaboration with many of the world’s leading constructors, the ZERO® 275 features a simple installation kit and an electronic control system, making it the perfect solution for competitors seeking to save weight, reduce complexity, and increase fire safety.
