Arai GPV-R

GPV-R Reshaped from the smallest details up, the GPV-R helmet is the refined form of Arai’s next generation for elite-level car racing.

The new GPV-R has been developed around a lower visor pivot point, making the upper shell smoother and rounder. This redistributes impact energy more efficiently, minimising or even avoiding energy intrusion into the helmet by allowing impacts to glance off the surface more easily.

With an 8mm taller field of view and a new centre visor lock, the helmet’s function is enhanced while meeting the very latest FIA homologation standards. Inside the shell is a fire-retardant system liner with 7mm dense foam pads on either side that allow an adjustment up to two sizes, with microphone-ready cheek pads and a removable centre pad for various hydration systems. 

The installed M6 terminal makes the GPV-R compatible with FHR anchor posts, meaning it is almost ready to go out of the box. Offering wider customisation to ensure maximum driver comfort and focus, the GPV-R is an exciting new step towards the next generation of Arai innovation and Priority for Protection.

The GPV-R is homologated to FIA 8859-2024 & Snell SA 2025
