Will this built-in intercom system connect with other amplifiers?

Yes. The heavy-duty female Nexus connector uses the standard 4-pin military configuration. While it is optimized perfectly for ZeroNoise amplifiers, it will connect seamlessly with any universal male 4-pin Nexus connector plug on the market.

Can the standard grey interior lining be customized?

Yes. While the standard version leaves the factory with a high-strength dark grey fire-retardant fabric, custom interior lining color choices (such as Red, Blue, Neon Yellow, or Tan) can be requested as a specialized factory order.

What is the benefit of the two different right-side covers?

Bell includes a modular side kit. The pre-installed contoured cover creates a sleek, flush-mount port for the female Nexus socket so your intercom lead plugs directly into the helmet shell. If you prefer a loose cable trailing down to your harness, you can swap it for the included flat plate.
